o   Recognized technology expert in CAE, vehicle systems and materials (invited frequently for offering lectures and workshops)

·       Physical Products (team effort under my leadership)

o   Suspensions: Patent pending In-house pusher and tag lift axles – first of its kind in India. The pusher axle is cheaper and better than competition, and has been commercialized, significantly impacting top and bottom lines.

o   Powertrain: Developed and deployed HiDur clutch pressure plates, which is now a standard component. HiDur has at least 300% more life than the one used in the past.

o   Engine: Improved valve spring for H6 engines that increased maximum engine speed by 10%. Under production.

o   Light-weighting: In-house development of superior and light-weight components using ADI (trade-secret), CGI, Aluminium alloys, micro-alloyed steel and natural fiber composites.

o   Emission: Created a patent pending EGR mixing device called “Swirlpool”.

o   Friction: Developed a novel in-house surface modification process (trade-secret)

·       Knowledge Products (team effort under my leadership)

o   Vehicle Dynamics: Ride analysis software – ARISE & Ride optimization software – AROSE. Vehicle dynamics of DOST LCV was carried out using these softwares.

o   Engine Dynamics: Torsional vibration software – GUITor. This software is an outcome of our activity on the P15 DOST engine.

o   Vehicle Performance: Synthetic drive cycles software – OptiDrive

o   Advanced Systems Simulation: Hydraulic hybrid propulsion and fuel-cell APU simulation

o   Aerodynamics: Parametric drag estimation tool for trucks

o   Patents: Received 6 patents and several more pending

o   Publications: 16 journal and 32 conference

o   Created India’s first pedestrian safety consortium along with TRIPP, IIT Delhi, called as PESCI

o   Offered SAE Top-tech course on vibrations along with two of my team members
