The Forum on Engineering Education has the mandate of addressing issues related to the growth and advancement of engineering education in the country. Last year, INAE was requested to give inputs related to promotion and enhancement of Engineering Education in the country to the Kasturirangan’s Committee constituted to review the National Education Policy. INAE, organized the special meetings with members of the Forum on Engineering Education with all concerned experts and generated suitable recommendations pertaining to the growth of Engineering Education in the country. The recommendations were submitted to the Kasturirangan Committee, which were well received by the Committee and are being incorporated in the Report under compilation.
