  • Served as Director of the same Institute for more than 10 years - Institute's R&D activity and its status in the national scenario received a major boost during this period.
  • Served as Sr. Adviser to DG, CSIR for a limited period.
  • Served as  a regular Visiting Professor at NIT, Rourkela

iii) SCROLL OF MERIT awarded by the Indian Cryogenic Council for being a member of the team working on "High Tc SQUID" which was adjudged to be the best research work for the year 1990.

v) Delivered Platinum Jubilee lecture in Indian Science Congress.
