·     Dr. Tapan Sahoo is currently leading the Digital Enterprise business vertical and is responsible for chalking out strategies for new age technology solutions for enhanced customer experience, operational efficiency improvement using cutting edge technologies like AI/ML, collaboration with startups and academia etc.

Dr Sahoo has over 33 years of experience in product planning, design & development, supplier development, technology, cost and program management functions. He has played a key role in upgrading the R&D capability of MSIL and supported development of design capability of many auto component supplier in India.

Dr Sahoo participates and contributes in various Industry, Academia, Professional and Government bodies. Some of the key roles are: 

·        Chairman, Digital Transformation and Innovation group of SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers)

o   Co-Chairman, Technical Council of SIAM encompassing Electric Mobility, Sustainable Mobility, Connected vehicles, Styling & Design, Frontier Technology & Innovation, Manufacturing & Industry 4.0.

o    Past Chairman, International Harmonization Group of SIAM - engaged in understanding, alignment, and adaptability of international regulations for India

o    Past Chairman, Frontier Technology Group of SIAM; the group engaged in policy formulation for Hybrid and Electric vehicles in India along with Govt of India.
